Welcome Offer
- Earn 100,000 bonus points after spending $6,000 in the first three months.
- Eligibility: You aren’t eligible to apply if you currently have this card. If you’ve previously had the card or earned its welcome bonus, you may not qualify for the new cardmember bonus. Chase may also consider the number of cards you have opened and closed when determining bonus eligibility.
Big4credit Tip: Plan your application around a period of higher spending so you can comfortably meet the welcome offer $6,000 spending requirement without making unnecessary purchases. Large travel expenses, home improvements, or other planned purchases can help you qualify for the bonus more easily.
Rewards
- 8X Points on Chase Travel℠ Purchases, including The Edit℠.
- 4X Points Categories:
- Flights booked directly with the airline
- Hotels booked directly with the hotel
- 3X Points on Dining.
- 1X Points on All Other Purchases.
- Note: Purchases that qualify for the $300 Annual Travel Credit or the $500 Edit Hotel Credit do not earn points.
Big4credit Tip: To maximize ongoing rewards, use the card for its highest-earning categories, including flights and hotels booked directly, Chase Travel℠ bookings, and dining. For purchases outside these categories, consider pairing it with a flat-rate rewards card that earns at least 1.5% cashback. A great companion is the Chase Freedom Unlimited®, which earns unlimited 1.5% cashback on everyday purchases. Because both cards earn Ultimate Rewards® points, you can combine your rewards into your Sapphire Reserve account and potentially increase their value through Point Boost or by transferring points to eligible airline and hotel partners.
Redemption Options
- Flexible Redemption: Redeem your rewards for cash, gift cards, travel, products, services, and more.
- Points Boost: Get up to 2X on select flights and hotels when you redeem through Chase Travel.
- Point Transfer: Transfer your points to top airline and hotel loyalty programs.
Big4credit Tip: Ultimate Rewards® points can be redeemed in several ways, but you’ll typically get the most value by booking eligible travel through Chase Travel℠ or transferring points to participating airline and hotel partners.
Chase Ultimate Rewards airline transfer partners:
- AerClub, loyalty program of Aer Lingus

Fees and APR
- Annual Fee: $795, with an additional $195 per year for each authorized user.
- Regular APR: 19.49% - 27.99% Variable APR.
- Balance Transfer Fees: $5 or 5% of each transfer amount, whichever is greater.
- Foreign Transaction Fee: None.
Big4credit Tip: This card comes with a higher-than-average APR and there is no 0% intro APR period. To avoid paying extra in interest, try to pay your balance in full each month rather than carrying a balance over time. If you need to finance a large purchase or consolidate debt, consider a low-APR credit card instead:
Annual Credits & Statement Credits
- $300 Annual Travel Credit: Receive up to $300 in statement credit each year for travel purchases.
Big4credit Tip: The $300 annual travel credit is one of the easiest premium travel credits to use. It automatically applies to a wide range of eligible travel purchases, including flights, hotels, car rentals, trains, buses, parking, tolls, and other qualifying travel expenses. Using the full credit each year effectively reduces the card’s annual fee.
- $500 Credit for Stays with The Edit℠: Get up to $500 in annual statement credits, up to $250 per prepaid stay booked through The Edit℠ by Chase Travel (two-night minimum).
Big4credit Tip: While the $500 credit for stays with the Edit℠ can be valuable, many participating hotels are premium properties with relatively high nightly rates. If you wouldn’t normally stay at these hotels, you may not realize the credit’s full value when comparing the card’s annual fee and benefits.
- $250 Annual Hotel Credit: Get up to $250 in statement credits on select hotel stays booked through Chase Travel, available through the end of 2026.
- Up to $120 Global Entry, TSA PreCheck®, or NEXUS Credit: Receive a statement credit (up to $120 every four years) as reimbursement for your Global Entry®, TSA PreCheck®, or NEXUS application fee.
- $300 Annual Dining Credit: Get up to $300 in dining credits each year, up to $150 from January through June, and up to $150 from July through December. Statement credits apply automatically at select restaurants.
Big4credit Tip: Consider how often you’ll use the $300 annual dining credit. The list of eligible restaurants is relatively small, so the value of this credit depends on whether participating locations fit your dining habits. Cardholders with nearby eligible restaurants may be able to maximize the credit, while others may find it less valuable.
- $300 Annual StubHub Credit: Get up to $300 in statement credits each year through 12/31/2027, up to $150 from January to June and $150 from July to December on eligible StubHub and viagogo purchases (activation required).
- $120 Annual Peloton Membership Credit: Get up to $10 per month in statement credits for Peloton Membership purchases, up to $120 per calendar year through December 31, 2027.
Lounge Access
- Priority Pass™ Select membership (retail value up to $469): Complimentary membership for primary cardmembers and authorized users, with access to 1,800+ airport lounges worldwide. Includes up to 2 guests per visit (additional guests $27 each). Access is subject to lounge capacity and participation.
- Air Canada Lounges: Sapphire Reserve cardmembers enjoy access to select Air Canada’s network of Maple Leaf Lounges and Air Canada Cafés in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Simply present your Sapphire Reserve card and a same-day boarding pass for a Star Alliance flight. Exclusions apply.
- Chase Sapphire Lounge® by The Club: Relax and refresh with locally inspired menus, a curated selection of beverages, and an unforgettable atmosphere.
Big4credit Tip: Authorized users cost $195 per year and receive the same airport lounge access as the primary cardholder. If multiple people in your household travel regularly, adding an authorized user can be more cost-effective than purchasing individual lounge memberships.

- 10x Points on Peloton: Earn 10x on eligible Peloton equipment and accessory purchases over $150, up to $5,000 in total purchases (through 12/31/2027).
Big4credit Tip: While the card offers hundreds of dollars in annual statement credits, getting full value requires active management. Many credits are tied to specific merchants, enrollment requirements, or monthly, semiannual, or annual redemption periods, so you’ll need to track them throughout the year. If you don’t regularly use the participating services, the card’s real value may be lower than its advertised benefits.
Events & Experiences: Access exclusive ticket packages and private experiences across travel, dining, music, film, and more.
